What is the newness of the year? Where is the freshness of it? We know that we have been growing from our babyhood to adulthood. We did grow, and there was moment-to-moment newness in our life, and we know that we are becoming newer and newer every moment. If that is the case, what is so special about New Year? At one second past midnight on January 1, the day will changed from Saturday to Sunday, usually an unremarkable transition of no special significance.
