About You On Your Birthday

Life is not a bed of roses. We experience many ups and downs in our lives. However, when we experience you, an extra golden shade is added to our rainbow coloured life. A 5 year old Yeshwanth did not know that you would come into his life when he entered Bhuvaneshwari aunty's house just because he heard good songs there and was told stories every Sunday in Balavikas classes.

I am very fortunate to have your grace in my life .I feel your presence every moment. You help me even when I forget to take your name. You are omnipresent. When I visit Puttaparthi, I definitely miss your physical form. But I know you are there.

You have totally changed my life. You are everything, my best friend, my father, my mother, my teacher. You are like a mirror in which my deepest need is reflected and shaped into an appropriate relationship that connects me to you. You are 'Mother Sai’, 'Father Baba’, 'Friend Sathya’, ‘Teacher Swami’, ‘God Bhagavan’, and so on, with the nature of each relationship being further nuanced.

You have played different roles in my life, as per the circumstance. You are somebody, with whom I share my happiness, my sorrows. I complain to you, argue with you, fight with you , request you , and sometimes even command you.  In other words, you are inside me, around me, you are present everywhere. You guide me in my bad times; you smile at my good times, you get angry when I do something wrong and you come back to me to correct my mistakes and bring me back to the right path. This is how, it is a heart to heart relationship.

Swami..

I surrendering my heart and soul,
Take me O Lord and make me whole.

Lord I surrender my everything,
I lift my voice and to You I sing.

Lord I surrender every part of me,
And I worship You down on my knee.

I won't hold back, I give you my all,
All day and all night to You I will call.

Every part of me belongs to You,
Take me and change me then use me for You.

I surrender my heart and soul,
Thank you dear Sai for making me whole

Happy Birthday Swami
